Gettin' There II specializes in off-shore trolling for Sailfish, Dolphin, Wahoo, Kingfish, Marlin, and Blackfin Tuna. Other species caught include Shark, Barracuda, Bonita, Remora and Jack Cravelle. Bottom fishing for Grouper and Snapper can be arranged with advanced notice.
The fishing grounds generally start about 15 to 20 miles off-shore. The exact area where we put our lines in the water depend on conditions such as water temperature and clarity plus other signs that fish may be near. Rest assured that every effort is made to maximize your fishing pleasure.

MATE
When it comes to the mate, you can be assured that he is a highly qualified fishing professional who will cater to your fishing needs. He will provide you any and all assistance you need to make your fishing trip enjoyable,
Normally it is expected to tip the mate. One of the most
frequently asked questions regarding the etiquette of tipping the mate on a charter, is
"how much?".
FEDERALLY OPERATED TAG AND RELEASE PROGRAM
Gettin' There II subscribes to the federally operated Tag and Release program for all Sailfish and Marlin caught. After you get pictures, the fish is revived and released, hopefully to excite another angler in the future.
TAXIDERMY
| If you want a mount of your prize catch, all the taxidermist needs are the measurements or a picture to replicate you catch. We can arrange for the mounting of any fish, including released billfish, that you catch. Please go to Brown's Taxidermy for a description of the mounting that is available. |  |

ON FISHING DAY
Gettin' There II provides all the licenses, rods & reels, bait, ice, mate plus cleaning and bagging the catch. All you need to bring is a sunglasses, cap, soft soled shoes (preferably soles that are light colored), sun screen, your food and drink (water, soft drink or beer) plus your camera. We'll even provide a cooler with ice for you to use.
Your safety and enjoyment is extremely important. It will be up to the sole discretion of the Captain to assess the water and weather condition as to departure. Of course, if the conditions prohibit the trip, it will be your choice for a deposit refund or a reschedule of the charter.
Please inform Gettin' There II of any medical conditions or special requirements at the time of making your reservation.
Beer (preferably cans) and wine coolers are allowed. Hard liquor is suggested for land-based entertainment. Prescription drugs are permitted. However, illegal drugs of any kind are not allowed. Gettin' There II complies with the USCG "Zero Tolerance Law" regarding drugs. The captain may terminate the charter at any time and without refund, if an individual becomes incapable of following directions in an emergency.
