For Sportfishing, Gettin' There II offers several kinds of charters

FISHING CHARTERS

The Full Day Fishing Charter is approximately a 9 hour day starting at 7:00am and ending about 4:00pm.  Adjustments to that schedule may be available for the asking.  The price for a Full Day Charter is $800 if reservation is made directly with Gettin' There II Charters .  Please see Price Guarantee for Fishing Charters below.

The 3/4 Day Fishing Charter is a 7 hour day starting at 7:00am and ending about 2:00pm.  Adjustments to that schedule may also be available.  The price for a 3/4 Day Charter is $700 if reservation is made directly with Gettin' There II Charters.  Please see Price Guarantee for Fishing Charters below.

The Half Day Fishing Charter is a 5 hour day and can start at any time.  Usually, starting at 7:00am and ending at about noon.  Adjustments to that schedule may also be available.  The price for a Half Day Charter is $600 if reservation is made directly with Gettin' There II Charters.  Please see Price Guarantee for Fishing Charters below.

Tipping of the mate is a normal and long established practice.  The mate works long and hard to cater to your every need.  As a rule, the amount of the tip is comparable to the tip that a restaurant server receives.  15-20% of the charter fee would be considered appropriate.

Beverages and Food Service Option can be available for the charter.  Normally this would include some kind of breakfast snacks, sandwiches or subs for lunch, fruit and snacks, bottled water and soft drinks plus beer (optionally).  The captain would discuss menu preferences in advance.  The price for Beverages and Food Service is the actual cost of the items (receipts will be provided) plus a $50 service fee.  Note:  These items will not be purchased until the day before the charter. However, once purchased, the price for this option, including service fee,  becomes non-refundable.

Price Guarantee for Fishing Charters   Prices are guaranteed only for reservations made less than 90 days in advance. For reservations made more than 90 days in advance, the prices are subject to a rate review because of the volatile fuel prices.  Please call for a detailed explanation of the Price Guarantee.  Remember that there have been no price increases since February 2008.

MARRIAGE CEREMONY CHARTERS

A Marriage Ceremony is also available. The Captain is licensed by the State of Florida to perform a marriage.  USCG regulations limit the number of passengers to 6.  Normally the entire service takes about 2 hours from the time of departure until return. Options include, flowers, music, video taping and witnesses and Beverages and Food Services (see above description).  The price for the stand alone Marriage service is $250.  If the Marriage Ceremony is coupled with a Fishing Charter, then the price of the Marriage Ceremony is $150.

OTHER CHARTERS

For Funerals (disposal of ashes) service is available.  USCG regulations limit the number of passengers to 6.  Normally the entire service takes about 2 hours from the time of departure until return.  Options include flowers, music, video taping plus the Beverages and Food Services (see above description).  Price for the base Funeral service is $250.

Sightseeing tours and Beach Cruises less than a half day in length are available. USCG regulations limit the number of passengers to 6.  Normally the entire service takes about 2 hours from the time of departure until return.  Options include the Beverages and Food Services (see above description).  Price for the Sightseeing service is $250. 

Other Special (i.e. Shuttle Launch Viewing) Charters can be arranged.  USCG regulations limit the number of passengers to 6.  Please contact Gettin' There II to discuss the requirement and obtain prices..

DISCOUNTS

Maximum Guests

The rates listed above are for the boat, not per person.  Gettin' There II is authorized to take up to a maximum of six (6) guests including children.  If the charter party is larger than six, arrangements can be made to divide a  full day charter into 2 "halves".   Please contact Gettin' There II for details.

Reservations

Reservations are suggested as soon as your schedule allows.  If a particular date is very important (such as a birthday or anniversary), your reservation cannot be too soon.  Some charters make them 6 months or more in advance, others try to wait until the last moment.

Regardless of when you make your reservation, try to plan your charter early in your trip in case the weather is not cooperative.  This way you will have the opportunity to re-schedule.

When making a reservation, please provide a means to be contacted while in Florida.  This can be your cell phone or a phone where you are staying,  If that information is not known, please check-in (before 8:30pm) the day before the charter. 

Lastly, please inform Gettin' There II of any medical or special requirements when making the reservation.

Deposits - Confirmation

In order to complete a reservation, we accept a credit card number (VISA, MasterCard, Discover) . 

No charge is made at the time of the reservation, but you are responsible for $100 if you were to cancel the reservation with less than 1 weeks notice and you would be responsible for $200 if you were a "no-show" the day of the charter.

If a credit card is not available, a deposit via check or money order in the amount of $200 is required to complete the reservation.  When the deposit is received, you will then be confirmed for the agreed date. 

Once the credit card number, check or money order is received, you will be sent an email confirmation of your reservation.

Payment of the Balance

Normally payment of the balance is collected right after all of the safety items  and vessel instructions are explained.  Acceptable forms of payment are

Refund Policy

REFUNDS: If a deposit is collected, it is fully refundable if Gettin' There II cancels for any reason such as rough seas.  Also, the deposit is fully refundable if you give at least 1 weeks notice. 

Cancellation Policy

The $100 deposit is will be assessed if notice of cancellation is less than 1 week.  If you cancel the day of the charter or if there is a NO-SHOW the day of the charter you will be assessed a $200 cancellation fee.
