The Captain

The Captain of the Gettin' There II is Joe Fetro.  He holds a United States Coast Guard License permitting him to operate vessels up to 100 gross tons. In addition, he has obtained a license upgrade to Master.

Tee Shirts

Gettin' There II Tee Shirts and Caps are available for purchase.  These can be purchased in advance or the day of the charter.  Tee Shirts are $15.00 each and Caps are $5.00 each.  There is no sales tax but postage will be included if mailed. 

Available sizes are Adult S, M, L, XL & XXL. 

The Tee Shirts are white 50/50 Cotton Blend Tee's and all have a pocket. 

The Caps are one size fits all -  colors are Red, Navy Blue, Royal Blue, Tan, Heather Green, Burgundy and Black.

Special Charters

There are occasions when Sportfishing is not the reason for a charter.   Gettin' There II is available for that purpose.  For example,   the University of Wisconsin recently had a need to deploy a scientific Buoy tethered to a device that would monitor sea conditions and communicate that with satellites.  Please visit the University's Space Science and Engineering Center's report ( http://www.ssec.wisc.edu/media/Sepoct98.html) to see their coverage of this event.

From Orlando, take the Beeline Expressway - SR 528 heading EAST.  The ride to the boat is approximately 45 minutes from Orlando International Airport.

PLEASE NOTE: While in route EAST on SR 528, do NOT take the Left Exit to Kennedy Space Center.

After crossing the Indian and Banana Rivers, look for the entrance to Port Canaveral which is identified by signs and an exit off SR 528. 

Take the exit for TERMINAL B (this sign shows TERMINAL B exit).  At the end of the exit ramp is a stop light. 

Go under SR 528 and make a left turn onto Dave Nesbitt Drive (this sign is at the intersection of Dave Nesbit Dr.) .

Follow Dave Nesbitt Drive until Scallop Drive - turn left (this sign is at the intersection of Scallop Dr.).

Follow Scallop Drive about 1/2 mile to where Bluepoints Marina is located. 

Park in the parking lot along the water  (not in the parking lot adjacent to the LARGE boat storage building) and look for Gettin' There II  (this is a view of Gettin' There II from the parking lot).

On the morning of the charter, please use our cell phone 321-960-0063 for last minute directions.

Gettin' There II is located at slip 7.  However, on the morning of the charter, we try to be at the floating dock to ease your access the the vessel.

NOTE:  If you miss the correct exit (Terminal B) off of SR 528, not to worry, turn around at the 'Race Track' gas station, go back and exit at the sign to Terminal B.  At the end of the exit ramp, turn right and immediately get into the left lane and turn left onto Dave Nesbitt Drive (this sign is at the intersection of Dave Nesbit Dr.) .
